How Orders Are Shipped

FedEx will deliver your order if your delivery address includes a street address within the 48 contiguous states. We do not ship to PO, APO/FPO boxes. The estimated delivery date provided during check out includes order processing time.

Warm Weather Shipping

During warm weather, an extra day may be needed to prepare and ship orders, and not all delivery options are always available. Temperatures in the zip codes your order is shipped to help determine delivery options. Standard shipping is only offered as an option on points that are 2 days from the FedEx distribution center in Texas.

Standard and Second BUSINESS Day Shipping orders are shipped Monday through Thursday to residential addresses, and Monday through Wednesday to business addresses.

Next BUSINESS Day Shipping Orders are shipped Monday through Friday to residential addresses and Monday through Thursday to business addresses.

To ensure second business day delivery, Second Business Day and Next Business Day orders must be place prior to 12:00pm (Central Standard Time).

Please remember, we take an extra day to process and fulfill orders during warm weather months, When placing your order on our website the shipping date and arrive by date will be clearly stated when you choose your shipping method and again when you finalize your order. If placing an order with one of our representatives, they will inform you of the delivery options and at what day your order should arrive.

During warm weather, we take special care to make sure your orders arrive in satisfactory condition. Your orders are carefully packed in insulated cartons with iced gel packs to help keep your candy fresh. You don't pay extra for these special packing materials.

We do not ship to PO, APO/FPO boxes.

Second BUSINESS Day and Next BUSINESS Day delivery options are available to Hawaii year round. To ensure second business day delivery, orders must be place prior to 12:00pm (Central Standard Time).

Shipments to Hawaii incur an additional $35 surcharge per ship-to address to cover higher shipping costs and other fees.

Deliveries to remote may areas require additional delivery time.

Arrive-By Date

During checkout, you may request an arrive-by date — a date by which you'd like your order to be delivered. Please note that requesting an arrive-by date does not guarantee that your order will arrive on the specific date you request. Circumstances beyond our control make it impossible to guarantee delivery dates. But be assured that we will make every effort to fulfill your arrive-by date request.

An arrive-by date may be requested up to 90 days from the date you order.

Refusals

Please don't refuse our shipments. Note any possible handling or heat damage to the FedEx delivery representative if possible, and contact a Russell Stover’s Customer Care representative at 1-800-477-8683. We fully guarantee our products. We will settle any damage disputes with our carriers and will gladly replace any damaged product.

After Your Product Arrives

Keep chocolate tightly wrapped in an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place at 60–75°F. Not following these storage conditions will cause chocolate to "bloom," or develop a light-colored powdery surface on the chocolate, caused by sugar or fat crystals rising to the surface. When this happens, the chocolate is still safe to eat, but the texture will suffer. To prevent bloom, make sure the chocolate doesn't get too warm or experience extreme fluctuations in temperature. If properly stored, dark chocolate actually improves with age like a fine wine.
